North Fayette Valley graduation is Sunday, May 15

North Fayette Valley School’s 2022 Commencement is Sunday, May 15, 2 p.m., at the High School Gym in West Union.

This year’s class motto is "I don't know about you, but I'm feelin' the Class of 22."

The class song is “I'll Always Remember You” by Hannah Montana.

The class colors are Columbia blue, black, and silver.

The class flower is a white carnation with ribbon in school colors.

The commencement program will be as follows:

For the Prelude, the North Fayette Valley High School band will play “Symphonic Overture” by Charles Carter. It will be followed by the Processional, “Pomp and Circumstance,” also played by the NFV HS Band, who will go on to perform the Presentation of Colors and the National Anthem.

The Welcome will be given by graduate J. K. Prentice.

Senior speakers Davan Crooker and Nathan Crooker will then address the audience.

Student recognition will be given by High School Principal Lori Westhoff.

This will be followed by a performance of “Lead Us Home” by the NFV HS Choir.

Awarding of diplomas will then begin with School Board members  Julie Ahrens and Stacy Cummings, and Superintendent Joe Griffith, and Principal Westhoff presenting the diplomas to the graduates.                                                                                                                                                                                                        

At the conclusion, Principal Westhoff will announce the Presentation of the Class.

This will be followed by the School Song and the Recessional “Grand March” performed by the NFV HS Band.

Junior class escorts will be Emma Biederman, Claire Britt, Kaleb White, and Alexis Steffens.

Flag bearers will be FFA President Ayla Moss and  FFA Vice President John Moellers..
